Elaine has been in practice for 20 years, beginning her career with ‘Youth on Purpose’, a very successful youth program which evolved into ‘Choose Again Attitudinal Healing Centers’, and her own private practice.
Elaine has worked with many families in crisis and has been a foster parent of teenage boys. Her clients call her a genius at process-oriented, solution-driven ideas that inspire and motivate.
She is a gifted teacher with a remarkable talent for aligning passion and practicality. A commitment to bringing peace and harmony to relationships is the focus of most of the rewarding work that she is involved in. As well as talk therapy, Elaine uses techniques such as group therapy, meditation, holotropic breathing, and re-enactment. Her professional qualifications and ongoing passion for learning are the basis of a natural calm and balance that allows clients to feel accepted while being challenged to question their beliefs.
Working with a treatment center in Costa Rica has provided her with a wide knowledge and experience with many clients and an understanding of how to help people succeed in eliminating stress and increasing love.

Using a variety of methods she helps clients see how they have played a part in the disharmony and dysfunction of their relationships, so that they may start the process of overcoming the barriers to connection.
Over many years Elaine has developed a positive and encouraging method of acceptance that allows clients to feel safe and supported so that hope is experienced. Elaine has a special gift for those suffering with loneliness, grief and fear of death. Parenting is another area of expertise that comes naturally. The difficulty in many split families can be healed through changes in thinking about children.
She is a wife, mother of two and grandmother of four . She draws upon these successful relationships to assist young or mature families in crisis.
